Unlock Your Inner Impulse with Peloton's "Motivation That Moves You"
Peloton has launched a new campaign that features their instructors, “Motivation That Moves You.” You can view the spot on the Peloton website or embedded below
The ad features Rad Lopez, Cody Rigsby and Jess Sims as instructors. Peloton published an blogpost with additional information about the campaign.
Peloton classes allow you to experience these amazing film moments. Peloton was designed to help you find exercise that you will stick with. We make it easy for you to stay motivated and offer classes that have the right balance of entertainment and instruction to suit your needs. Peloton instructors are what keeps people going when other workouts fail them. We wanted to celebrate this in our latest brand campaign.
Contrary to previous campaigns which focused heavily on hardware (i.e. The Bike and Tread: This campaign puts the spotlight on Peloton’s coaches and adds humor to the mix.
Instead of watching instructors in the studio we see them in classic TV/film scenarios. Rad speaks to a group of football players; Adrian speaks in a company boardroom; Cody talks to what appears to have been a gathering of medieval-era townspeople (including some viral quotes from previous classes - anyone want fajitas? Jess talks to the likely protagonist of a horror movie.
Until the last seconds of the ad, viewers don’t see any Peloton devices. The instructors return to their classes, while the members are shown riding the Bike, Tread, or using the Peloton guide.
According to AdWeek Peloton collaborated with Mother LA for the campaign. Dara Treseder is the Senior Vice President and Head for Global Marketing and Communications at Peloton. She provided this statement to the publication.
“One thing we hear often from our members is how strong their relationships with their instructors are. Many have instructors that can meet their needs and unleash their motivation. This was our goal. We wanted to make that shine for the first time.
A Peloton press release sharedthat the advertisement will air in North America first with 60, 30 and 15 second spots on TV and digital.
