Thanksgiving with Peloton: The Best Workouts to Keep You Fit During the Holidays

Peloton is Promoting its 2020 version of the Turkey Trot on the company’s official blog.

Even though many local Turkey Trot races may be off the calendar for a while, it’s still a tradition we want to continue – Peloton style. Holiday races are an important tradition that brings people together. We are bringing you the 2020 virtual Turkey Trot, which everyone can join!

A “turkey trot”, which is usually a 5k race or fun run, takes place on Thanksgiving morning. A majority of Americans who take part in one do it to lose a few calories before eating a big Thanksgiving meal. Turkey Trots can be enjoyed by children as they often include a walk of 1 mile or other activities.

Thursday, November 26th at 6 a.m. ET: Peloton will add two audio-guided Turkey Trot classes in its on-demandlibrary.

To access the runs, you will need the Peloton app. However, if you don’t have a membership, you can get 30 days of free access to the runs.

Make sure you have enough running space before you go. The classes assume that you are running from your starting point and will notify you when it is time to turn around.

CTW’s Take

With the COVID-19 pandemic causing cancellations for almost all races in-person, virtual turkey trots will be extremely popular this year. It’s smart of Peloton therefore to use this to drive digital customers, which are also a lead generationl for its hardware.
