The RENPHO Smart Treadmill

Foldable design

The RENPHO Smart Treadmill’s best feature is its ability to fold up, which allows for space savings. It is easy to fold up and safe thanks to its well-designed folding mechanism.

It is also appreciated that the RENPHO can be lowered from its folded position slowly and controlled. There is no need to be concerned about the treadmill getting in an accident.

Suspension deck

Two PVC cushions and six rubber pads at the bottom of the running belt provide shock absorption. This running belt is very similar to the higher-priced treadmills such as Peloton.

It is slightly smaller than other running belts, measuring 18 inches in width and 51 inches in length. It is comfortable for me to run on, even though I am 5'9’. However, taller people than 6’ 2’ may feel constrained.

Acceleration and inclines

The Renpho Smart Treadmill can reach speeds of up to 11 mph, and has an incline range from 0-18%. The maximum incline was not as steep as the 18% on other treadmills, so I think it may have been exaggerated. Once I have the exact measurements I will update this review, but I think the maximum incline is somewhere between 12-15%.

It is easy to adjust the speed or incline with the conveniently located controls on the left and right handlebars. These controls can also be used to quickly monitor your heart rate.

Auto and app adjust

Renpho also offers a free app that allows you to pair your tablet or smart phone with the treadmill via Bluetooth. You can also track your starts and follow along with a variety programs.

The Renpho treadmill also has an auto-adjusting speed and incline feature. You don’t need to adjust the speed or incline of the Renpho app, so whether you’re starting a new workout or following one you already have, it won’t matter.

You can create your own program via the app and it will be saved to the treadmill. The treadmill can be used to select and start the program without the need for the app.

You can also purchase a decent set of Bluetooth speakers to allow you to listen to your music while you work out. You can also set the speakers up to allow you to take classes using the Peloton app.

Take the Watts Connected

Overall, the Renpho Smart Treadmill has been a great experience. This is a great deal, and an excellent alternative to more expensive connected equipment such as the Peloton Tread.

The space-saving folding design, the comfortable running surface, the ability to follow along with or create custom programs and the auto-adjusting features are all great assets. It is a great product and I recommend it highly.
